The dual-material housing, a nylon body with a PEI core, is one of the first uses of HMX's newly developed dual-material process, producing the switch's distinctively crisp, lively top-out and bottom-out with a clean, consistent acoustic signature across the all keyboards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe PEI top housing sits on a new mold that took months to get right, since PEI is notoriously hard to injection mold.
