1. Unboxing Process Recording:

We strongly recommend recording the entire unboxing process as a precaution against potential disputes. Past incidents of fraudulent activity have resulted in financial losses during our sales.

2. Pre-Installation Inspection:

Before commencing with the assembly process, we urge you to conduct a thorough inspection of your purchase. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Examine the external surfaces for any discernible flaws or scratches. In case of such issues or if any components are missing, promptly capture photographic evidence and get in touch with us without delay.
  • It is essential to note that we cannot assume responsibility for any flaws or scratches discovered after the assembly process has begun.
  • Any reports of missing items must be submitted within 30 days from the date of delivery.

3. Appearance and Cosmetic Imperfections:

Our policy pertaining to appearance and cosmetic imperfections is as follows:

  • Services and warranties related to cosmetic issues are valid only within the first month of delivery.
  • Internal CNC marks and imperfections that are not visible after assembly fall within acceptable limits.
  • Blemishes under 2.01mm on all other surfaces and edges are considered acceptable.
  • Gaps and creases under 1.51mm are also within the approved range.
  • Parts with cosmetic imperfections, except the case itself, will only be replaced if their functionality is impaired.
  • It is important to note that spray-coated exteriors may exhibit slight color variations due to differences in coating thickness.

4. Functionality and Warranty:

Our warranty policy is designed to safeguard your investment and ensure a smooth support experience:

  • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser who bought the product directly from our website, and it requires proof of purchase. The warranty becomes void if the product changes ownership.

  • Warranty coverage extends to:

    • Keycaps: Three months from the date of arrival or in the case of DOA (Dead On Arrival) without any modifications.
    • PCBs: One year from the date of arrival or in the case of DOA (Dead On Arrival) without any modifications. 
    • Others: One month from the date of arrival or in the case of DOA (Dead On Arrival) without any modifications.
    • Replacement parts are subject to availability due to the short end-of-life (EOL) duration of certain components. If a replacement part is no longer available, Qwertyqop will work with you to explore alternative solutions, such as repair or substitute parts, where possible.
  • Warranty Exclusions:

    • Modifying the PCB through mill-maxing will void your warranty.
    • Tape modding, especially on PCBs without a daughterboard, is strongly discouraged and may result in damage. Any such modifications and consequential damage are not covered.
    • Warranty claims do not cover damage caused by human error, such as hotswap sockets pushed out of the PCB solder pads.
  • Troubleshooting Requirement:

    • Before a warranty claim can be processed, customers are required to cooperate with our troubleshooting process. This step is essential to identify and resolve the issue effectively.

    • Non-Cooperation Clause:

      • If customers refuse to cooperate with the troubleshooting efforts, Qwertyqop reserves the right to:
        • Pause further assistance until the required steps are completed.
        • Deny the warranty claim if the issue cannot be verified due to lack of cooperation.
    • This clause ensures that genuine claims are addressed efficiently and minimizes delays caused by incomplete information.

  • Damage and Repairs:

    • In case of malfunctions, particularly involving stripped screws or other issues, we encourage you to reach out to:

    • Attempting self-repairs without consulting us first may void your warranty and affect our ability to provide support. Please ensure all troubleshooting steps are followed as directed.

    5. Package Content:

    For clarity regarding package contents:

    • Please consult the product's sales page for a detailed "what's in the box" or "content list" section.
    • Claims of missing items must be submitted to Qwertyqop or your local vendor within 30 days of delivery.
    • It's important to note that free gifts, such as stabilizer sets and stainless steel artisans, hold no intrinsic value. We do not offer replacements or partial refunds for missing free gifts.
